Itinerary

Experience nature, culture, and local life in one unforgettable day at the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro.

The Materuni Waterfalls & Coffee Tour takes you to the lush green village of Materuni, home to one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the Kilimanjaro region and a rich Chagga coffee-growing tradition. This tour is a perfect mix of scenic hiking, refreshing nature, and hands-on cultural experience.

Your journey begins with a drive from Moshi to Materuni village, followed by a guided walk through banana plantations and local farms to reach the waterfall. Along the way, your local guide will share stories about village life and the surrounding environment. At the waterfall, you’ll have time to relax, take photos, and enjoy the cool natural pool at the base of the falls.

After the hike, you’ll take part in a traditional coffee experience, where you’ll learn how local coffee is grown, roasted, and prepared using traditional methods, and of course, enjoy a freshly brewed cup made by your own hands.
